This resource is based on the underpinning ideas of Talking Stones (Crosby, 1993) but allows for further applications and use within a variety of settings and using a wider range of materials (included with the set). Talking Stones is a technique designed to support self-advocacy and can contribute to developing an understanding of a client's sense of self, self-esteem, sense of agency, and sense of belonging (Wearmouth, 2007).
This resource will be beneficial for a wide range of practitioners, including counsellors, psychologists, therapists, pastoral workers, emotional literacy support assistants (ELSA) and many more.
