Educational Psychology services

 

I promote strengths-based approaches, placing the welfare and well-being of children and young people at the heart of everything I do, and believe that everyone can achieve positive change and growth with the right support.  My psychological knowledge and vast experience underpin all of my work, including consultation, assessment and therapeutic intervention, training and staff supervision/development, and service/systemic development.  Co-production lies at the heart of my work, and working together with staff, parents/carers, and young people allows me to support successful intervention and meaningful change.

 

I engage in a range of work, which could include:

​Staff/ parent consultations

Direct observation and assessment with a child/ young person

Therapeutic and educational interventions with children/young people

Attending multi-agency meetings and working closely with colleagues

Providing staff supervision and coaching

Providing staff training and intervention planning/monitoring

Systemic work in schools
